Security: How to identify fake communications?

At SEUR, we prioritize your security. If you receive a suspicious message, verify these 3 key points before clicking:

1. Urgent messages: Be wary of pressure to act quickly, warnings of a "serious problem," or threats to return your package immediately. Do not make decisions under pressure.

2. Strange links and senders: When in doubt, type the address directly into your browser.

Our official communications come from:

Emails: infoenvios@mail.seur.info or seur@network1.pickup-services.com
URLs: https://www.seur.com/es/index.html or https://www.seur.com/miseur/mis-envios

3. Requests for sensitive data: Such as credit card details, personal passwords, or downloading external applications. If the message asks for money or access codes, ignore it.

Doubts about a shipment? Access our official website at www.seur.com, contact Customer Service, or ask Lola, our virtual assistant.

Service disruptions due to the situation in Ukraine

Due to the situation in Ukraine, shipments to and from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus are suspended.

Afghanistan service update

Due to the suspension of flights and the blocking of road networks, service to and from Afghanistan is temporarily interrupted and we are not accepting any shipments to or from the country at this time.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause and will resume normal operations as soon as circumstances permit.
All originators are requested not to pick up any shipments destined for Afghanistan, and any shipments currently in the network will be returned to sender.

Geopost reports a cybersecurity incident

Geopost announces that it has identified a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized recent access to a database operated by its subsidiary in Spain.

Upon becoming aware of the incident, the company proactively informed the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEDP) and quickly launched an investigation in collaboration with cybersecurity experts.

This investigation confirms that the compromised data is limited to the information necessary for providing transport services, namely names, surnames, postal addresses, email addresses, and, in certain cases, phone numbers.

Geopost also confirms that, together with its Spanish subsidiary, all necessary measures have been taken to manage the incident and mitigate its impact, ensuring that our response has been immediate and our security systems have been reinforced.

More specifically, these measures include a variety of security actions such as password renewals, formatting of affected devices, network security improvements, real-time monitoring, and enhancements in automating responses to suspicious events to protect our systems and information.

This incident, which is not a ransomware situation, may lead to the use of stolen data for spam or phishing attempts. Therefore, we urge our customers, whether senders or recipients, to increase their level of caution regarding suspicious emails or phone calls from unknown contacts.

Those affected may contact the Data Protection Officer of Geopost España SL via the email address dpo@seur.net to address any concerns, obtain further information, or receive useful advice.
